Sligo's Second Annual Light-Up Night

On Sunday evening, Sligo held its second annual light-up night. We gathered on the Sligo Presbyterian Church lawn at 5:30 p.m. After Santa arrived on his special Christmas 4-wheeler, Pastor Rudiger read from the Psalter and the Book of Isaiah, and Amanda and Anistyn Gallagher led us in singing some Christmas carols. After putting personal ornaments on the tree, Santa threw the switch and the lights were on. Sligo Presbyterian Church then served cookies and hot chocolate in the Fellowship Hall.

The SPC congregation thanks Trista Minick, Barb Edmonds and Betsy Saylor for organizing the event, Amanda and Anistyn Gallagher for leading the singing and all those who brought cookies. And of course, we offer a special thanks to Santa for working Sligo into his busy schedule.

Below are a couple of videos and some photographs from the event.
