LESSON 43: PROTECTING THE CHURCH

Objective: To maintain the achievements and increase them

Scripture: Acts 20:25-38

SUMMARY

The church is a community of believers in Jesus Christ as their king and savior. Since it was born on the day of Pentecost, it has been expanding and branching out around the world.  Where the Church reaches or starts a Parish, its members they do evangelism and put in place the accompanying infrastructure it needs to be handled carefully and added to as time goes on.

Paul also bids farewell to the elders of the Church of Ephesus he took time

It is important to explain to them that the work of the members of the Church is for Christ it is not just done for a certain period of time and then stopped.  It's work of the series.  As after Jesus started it, he delivered it the apostles and his first disciples to continue it, is that you must always you are betrayed until he returns.  Some of Paul's most important requests those who continue the work after him are as follows: To protect their testimony, teaching the word of God, preaching to the pagans to believe in Jesus Christ, preventing heresy, persecuting every member of the Church, to be a role model in working hard to help others and to develop the Church.

To protect the Church is to continue the good things it has achieved and to be it is under construction and must be updated daily.

This is a good legacy to avoid backsliding, procrastination and resistance laziness and poverty through overwork (being dependent on me) even and adding to the good that man has found is what we must have our own. May God strengthen us!

Exchanging ideas:

1.Talk about what your grassroots church has done, set up and maintain them.

2.Think of new activities that you are going to add to what you have already achieved in two years from now.

3.While Paul was a Christian he understood that “Giving blesses more than to receive”.  Is that how you feel? Talk to each other.

4.What else did you benefit from this study?

Word of meditation: Acts 20:28
