On Saturday, April 5, Sligo Presbyterian Church organized and hosted a spaghetti benefit dinner and raffle for the families of Cambrie Priester and Christopher McNutt, two local families involved in the March 22nd automobile accident. After some expenses, we raised $9,374.10, with $4,687.05 going to each family. We thank the SPC Outreach team and Diane Conaway for their hard work in making this such a big success. We also thank the local businesses that contributed food, money and prizes for the raffles and all those within the SPC family who offered their baked goods and time. Below are some pictures of the raffle prizes and some volunteers preparing desserts.
In this blog, we'll focus on the working being done at Sligo Presbyterian Church, Sligo, Pennsylvania. We'll also look at what's happening in Sligo, Rimersburg, Clarion, and all the other communities served by our congregation.
