OSHA: Inclement Weather & Cold Safety

Severe winter weather can not only disrupt or shut down business operations but can threaten worker safety and attendance. An inclement weather policy should be part of a comprehensive emergency preparedness program that gives employees guidelines on what to expect during severe weather events. Join Mark Harmon and David Yanoschick as we discuss ways to prepare yourself, your business, and your employees for the next weather emergency.

Mark Harmon, Compliance Assistance Specialist (CAS), Erie OSHA Office, will provide information as part of the Strategic Alliance with PennWest Clarion SBDC and Gannon University SBDC to educate participants about Federal OSHA regulatory requirements and will appeal to any safety & health professional, human resource official, manufacturing employees, and others.

David M. Yanoschick Jr., CSP, SHARP Outreach Coordinator, PA OSHA Consultation Program, Indiana University of Pennsylvania
